Cignys seeks detail oriented Quality Control Inspector III. In this role you will be responsible for quality inspections of multiple parts during production sequence to ensure conformance of all preset specifications under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Manager and within AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification standards

Key Responsibilities:

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or other relevant vocational/technical diploma
• Capability to program, inspect & interpret using coordinate measuring machine equipment (Bridge and manual arm)
• Develops and maintain CMM work instructions, documentation of inspection results
• Ability to train all level 2 experienced personnel in the proper use of CMM.
• A minimum of four years of work experience, or equivalent.
• Performs final inspection for quality appearance and performance of complicated products, or diversified parts and assemblies.
• Capable of working in a highly diversified environment at various locations within the company.
• Qualified internal auditor capable of auditing and qualifying vendors on location performing secondary party audits.
• Design of inspection procedures and techniques including gauge and measuring solutions to support process design and manufacturing.
• Designation of statistical tools and data analysis to support inspection requirements.
• Capable of supervising inspection personnel and setting up training programs for those individuals.
• Communicates with management, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Minimum Qualifications:

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or other relivant vocational/technical diploma.
• CMM Programing Skills
• Minimum of 5 years as a Quality Inspector.
• Basic drawing translation and reading skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
