Sagent is Hiring a Level I Technician Near Coppell, TX
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Under the general direction of the Repair Production Manager/Repair Supervisor, the Level I Technician is responsible for supporting repair operations to ensure an organized and timely process for completing repair production orders and projects. This position utilizes entry level experience, skills and knowledge to the electronics test and repair industry. The Level 1 Technician position’s primary role is to coordinate with leadership of repair services and higher-level technicians to take on and complete tasks that benefit the repair process and help achieve performance goals for the Repair Team.
SHIFT DETAILS: 2nd shift, M-F, 2:30pm-11pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-screen product to determine initial status
Perform product testing when needed
Perform basic troubleshooting and repair when trained to do so
Using basic soldering tools for replacing components
Cleaning product when needed
Work with Engineers and higher-level techs to gain knowledge and skills
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Basic understanding of electronics
Basic ability to test and troubleshoot various types of electronic circuit boards.
Perform configuration and fault management.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use functional and situational reasoning
Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion
Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments
