At Sage Staffing we are representing a client who is looking for a few talented handymen to add to their team! They work in commercial buildings all around the Akron area.

Here are some things you will be doing:
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial buildings
- Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems
- Install and maintain various equipment, appliances, and fixtures
- Complete general carpentry tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and furniture assembly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance person or maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Experience with facilities maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with logic controllers and automation systems is a plus
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
