SAFREST is Hiring a Well Driller Near Bellmawr, NJ

SAFREST Resources has partnered with a full-service geotechnical drilling company in Camden County, NJ. We are seeking a Licensed Well Driller or Environmental Resource & Geotechnical Well Driller.

You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality drilling services for a range of geotechnical projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects involving environmental assessments, site investigations, and groundwater monitoring. You will work with updated equipment and a knowledgeable, growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drilling Operations: Conduct geotechnical drilling operations using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. Employ various drilling methods, such as auger, mud rotary, or other techniques, based on project requirements.

  2. Well Construction: Install monitoring wells and piezometers, including the proper placement of casing, screens, and other components. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

  3. Environmental Sampling: Collect soil and groundwater samples during drilling operations for environmental assessments. Follow proper sampling protocols and coordinate with environmental scientists and engineers.

  4. Site Investigations: Contribute to site investigations by providing essential drilling support. Work closely with geologists and engineers to gather crucial data for project evaluations.

  5. Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the project team, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.

  6. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct inspections and address any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  7. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations related to geotechnical drilling. 

Qualifications:

  1. New Jersey Well Driller's License: Possession of a valid and current well driller's license (ERG) issued by the appropriate regulatory authority in the state of New Jersey.

  2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in geotechnical drilling, with a focus on well construction and environmental sampling.

  3. Knowledge: Familiarity with geotechnical and environmental regulations, soil mechanics, and groundwater dynamics. Understanding of various drilling methods and their applications.

  4. Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, team members, and project stakeholders. Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.

  5. Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
