GENERAL SUMMARY:

Opportunities available currently include night-time kitchen exhaust cleaning technician, working alone or as a team to provide cleaning and servicing for commercial cooking establishments. Lead technician positions for individuals may also available and promotions for supervisors are consistently taken from the technician position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
Set up and tear down all equipment at the job site including hanging plastic sheeting, setting up ladders and wiping down stainless steel surfaces.
Degrease and power wash kitchen exhaust system components including fans, ducts, hood canopy, and filters, operate equipment such as wet/dry vacs, high-pressure equipment, and pump sprayers.
Work efficiently alone or as part of a team to assure high-quality work is completed during a specified window of time.
Represent the company with excellent customer service by thorough communication with the customer at all times.
Maintain and inventory work tools and equipment and immediately report any deficiencies of equipment immediately to a supervisor.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Much of the work is performed in facilities during hours when the facility is closed or the exhaust system is not in use, this is often at night. There is noise from operation of machinery, and exposure to cleaning compounds, oils, grease, heat, and steam from power wash equipment. Uniforms, safety boots, and PPE is provided.
EFFORT:
Must be able to read, write, see, hear, and speak. Sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting and reaching required daily. Must be able to lift, push, carry and pull cleaning equipment and tools that may weigh up to 60 pounds. Must be able to climb and work safely on a ladder.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education sufficient to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have the ability to measure volume, be aware of ingredients that can be safely mixed together, have physical strength and endurance.
A background check must be impeccable. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle from one site to another.
