SafeRide Health is Hiring a Remote Network Vendor Manager - (West Coast, US)

Job Summary:

SafeRide Health seeks a dynamic strategic Network Vendor Manager (Remote, 20% Travel). This role centers on cultivating and enhancing relationships with our transportation providers, ensuring mutual objectives are aligned, combining vendor relationship building with tactical execution. The ideal candidate will not only ensure our providers meet established metrics but will be pivotal in influencing them towards strategic outcomes that are in sync with SafeRide’s vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Relationship Building: Cultivate deep relationships with transportation providers to understand their business incentives, showcasing how partnering with SafeRide can help them achieve their desired outcomes.

· Vendor Growth & Expansion: Engage and collaborate with transportation providers, encouraging their growth and service extension across larger geographic areas in alignment with our objective of fewer, but higher quality and cost-effective providers.

· Performance Metrics Oversight: While the focus is strategic, ensure that our transportation providers are adhering to key performance metrics and SLAs. Handle both inbound and outbound communications, responding to network and client inquiries, and offering guidance and feedback for continual improvement.

· Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement strategies for ongoing network development (including - market research, vetting, contract management & negotiations, and onboarding of new providers) preventing deficiencies and ensuring overall network health.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, aligning our business strategy with the provider network's capabilities.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years in a third-party relations or vendor management role.

· Must be willing to work in PT or MT time zone.

Preferred Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Experience in medical or human services transportation.

· Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

Skills:

· Exceptional Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to foster mutual understanding and drive results.

· Vendor Management: Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and navigating challenges to ensure mutual success.

· Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, or challenges, and align them with organizational objectives.

· Negotiation Skills: Proficient in conducting negotiations to achieve favorable contract terms, resolve disputes, and ensure provider satisfaction.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience collaborating with multiple internal departments, ensuring alignment and coherence in strategy and execution.

· Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and utilizing innovative solutions to address them effectively.

· Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business conditions, handle ambiguity, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

Please note that approximately 80% of work is conducted remotely, with 20% involving travel for vendor meetings, strategic discussions, and relationship building.
