Job Overview:
We are seeking a Fire Protection Equipment Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible primarily for providing on-site maintenance and repairs to our customers' equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with our clients.

Experienced technicians preferred but not necessary as we are willing to train a good candidate who is motivated and willing to learn the trade.

Primary responsibilites:

• Fire extinguisher sales, installation and maintenance
• Pre-engineered fire suppression systems limited to: Commercial restaurant kitchens, automotive paint spray booths, and hazardous material storage sheds.
• Exit and emergency lighting testing and repairs
• Emergency eye wash and shower station maintenance

Duties:
- Travel to customer sites to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for technical sales

Skills:
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of NFPA and fire protection equipment
- Ability to use instruments and tools for diagnostics and repair
- Strong technical sales aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of commercial and industrial maintenance practices
