SafeHaven is seeking a Hotline Intervention Supervisor.

This position provides strengths-based support, coaching, training, and guidance to the Hotline Intervention Team that answers a 24-hour domestic violence hotline using trauma informed practices to provide crisis intervention, information/referrals, and shelter screening.

This position has significant responsibilities that includes providing oversight and direction to hotline intervention staff to ensure calls are handled professional, confidential, survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive for callers. Other responsibilities include developing a network of appropriate resources, including community based organizations and social services providers.

The specific qualifications for this role are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the field of family violence, victim services or related work required.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of Intimate Partner Violence, gender-based violence, and crisis intervention strategies required.
• Ability to provide culturally competent services and work with diverse staff and clientele in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner.
• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
