Personal Traits: A Direct Care Professional supervisor should possess the understanding and ability to cope with emotionally impaired children as well as the empathy needed to effectively provide services to behaviorally/emotionally challenged children. Or Child Mentors shall be self-directed, have legible penmanship, and basic Math and English proficiency. Direct Care Professional shall be mature and responsible, and of good moral character to serve as a role model for children.

General Responsibilities: Direct Care Supervisor needs to supervise Direct Care Professionals and assure their monitoring responsibilities of residents in the unit. Participate in treatment team planning meeting for assigned residents.

Our Direct Care Supervisor may have experience working with emotionally impaired or related work with children.

Education Requirements: Bachelore's Degree

Specific Duties of the Direct Care Supervisor position include, but are not limited to training, supervision, evaluation, and management of Direct Care Professional staff:

• 4 years of experience
• Model positive behavior for staff and individuals receiving services
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of employer's mission, policies, practices, and systems
• Ensure staff comply with regulatory requirements, e.g., yearly physicals
• Ensure staff uphold employer policies
