**Duties:** - Conduct escrow transactions for real estate transactions, ensuring all parties involved are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Review and analyze contracts, loan documents, and other relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other parties to gather necessary documentation and information for the escrow process. - Prepare and review closing statements, settlement statements, and other financial documents. - Calculate and collect fees, taxes, and other payments associated with the escrow process. - Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the status of escrow transactions. - Maintain accurate records of all escrow transactions and related documents. **Skills:** - Strong knowledge of bank regulations, Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant laws governing real estate transactions. - Proficiency in escrow procedures and practices. - Excellent math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately. - Familiarity with loan origination processes and loan officer duties. - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reviewing contracts and other legal documents. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the escrow process. - Knowledge of FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines for loan processing is a plus.
