**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills. **Duties:** - Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming attitude - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry - Handle payments and billing - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members **Qualifications:** - Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred - Proficiency in veterinary terminology - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques - Familiarity with medical collection procedures - Understanding of aseptic techniques - Experience with kennel or laboratory work is a plus - Training in dog handling or dog training would be beneficial - Knowledge of veterinary critical care is an advantage Join our team and contribute to providing exceptional care for our furry patients!
