**Location: Eagan, Minnesota**

The Paint Prepper will be responsible for ensuring that parts and equipment for are ready to enter the paint booth for painting. Removing previously applied paint, cleaning, and degreasing are some of the additional tasks that may be required. These duties require strong attention to detail and adequately preparing parts of the final stages of the manufacturing process.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Prepare parts for the powder coating booth to paint or coat aluminum and steel products.

* Observes machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards.

* Loads and unloads parts, secures parts, and moves parts down the line.

* Report manufacturing problems to Technical Team Lead or supervisor.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Ability to cross train to other departments as needed.

**Education, Experience and Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma/Equivalent

* 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, powder coating preferred.

* Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.

* Reliable and dependable attendance.

* Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers

* Mechanical aptitude preferred.

* Safety First attitude.

* Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.

**Schedule/Compensation:**

* First Shift Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM
