As an Inventory Control Associate you are responsible to track and maintain inventory accuracy throughout the plant. This position has a significant impact on our customer satisfaction and our ability to deliver product on time. Additionally, this position will also play a critical role in evaluating current and future inventory needs. May perform other assigned duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving improvements in processes related to material management
  • Assists in developing control mechanisms and supply data usage reports
  • Maintains communication with supported customer(s) monitor supply usage and remove and dispose of obsolete or outdated products by updating inventory management system(s)
  • Perform cycle counts throughout the warehouse and production facility
  • Assist in the facilitation of the total inventory process
  • Proactively notify supervisor of material shortages in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
  • Ability to successfully obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to cross train to other departments as needed


Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Safety First attitude
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility
  • 6 months of forklift experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking
