SAFE CREDIT UNION is Hiring a Relationship Manager Near Folsom, CA

Salary Pay Range: $89,000.00 - $110,000.00
Exact compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location.
POSITION PURPOSE

Relationship Manager is responsible of promoting SAFE as the preferred financial institution throughout the greater Sacramento area with local businesses chambers, schools and associations. This role will drive expansion and retention through outbound events, networking opportunities, and strong relationship building. Responsible for building brand awareness and identifying relationships connecting them to SAFE’s Financial Wellness resources, products and services.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Expand relationships with active Employer Groups/Chambers of Commerce and prospect new opportunities for workplace relationships by leveraging strong personal brand with individual communications, high-touch digital methods, in-person local events, board service, educational events, offsite meetings, initiated outreach, and other proven relationship-building methodologies.
  • Identify, evaluate, plan, and execute direct relationship-building opportunities with internal SAFE resources and external vendors. Planning includes creation and approval via proposal system.
  • Maintain workplace financial wellness relationships with corporate employer groups through regular meetings and other touchpoints/check-ins while maintaining current records of engagement through our Salesforce CRM
  • Support of SAFE Credit Union strategic goals and initiatives by alignment of department and personal goals and tracking all measures of support in Salesforce CRM.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities related to corporate employer group/Chamber of Commerce management and strategic alliances. Evaluation through debriefing with stakeholders and capture of information in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and community partners to initiate and implement business development strategies.
  • Serve on local boards or committees with key industry groups, such as chambers, associations, educators, and employer group foundation leaders.
  • Advocate collaboration and development of corporate employer groups partnerships/opportunities and Chamber relationships to obtain maximum effectiveness and ROI of SAFE’s community development efforts.
  • Ensure regular alignment and open communication with retail and internal teams to maximize brand efforts and initiatives.
  • Monitor and track results, preparing individual client reports through Salesforce data entry
  • Identify operational needs, proposing solutions to fulfill the objectives of growing the portfolio of consumers. Maintaining a list of changes for reference when creating annual budget.
  • Responsible for adherence to approved Community Relations annual budget and tracking of expenditures in support of it.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and five years of related business development experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Knowledge:

Five or more years of outside sales experience soliciting new clients. Five or more years of experience in community and/or legislative affairs. Five or more years of experience in financial services preferred. Demonstrated large-scale process coordination expertise and experience, ideally managing a major corporate, healthcare, development, and/or government initiative requiring collaboration between multiple entities.
