Safavieh is looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated, and organized Design Assistant. Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team in providing customer service, marketing, and sales support
• Manage incoming/outgoing communications with Sales, Service, and clients
• Create and distribute dealer information and marketing materials via email
• Interact with clients and represent the company in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Provide clients with styling and design feedback
• Organize emails for sales and distribute accordingly. Keep information updated and routed to proper individuals
• Assist in preparation for Market across all functions, including but not limited to campaign; writing orders, organize inventory and samples, communicating with clients in attendance
• Following up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of requested information

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word. Excel and Outlook
• Excellent creativity and design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
• Experience in customer service and/or client relations required
• Capability to work as part of a team and independently on own initiative
• Experience using Shopify preferred

Compensation:

• $22.00 – $25.00/ hour commission
• Benefits – 401k (with 2% match), medical, vision, dental, paid holiday, vacation and sick time
