Overview:
Safari Healthcare Associates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our home healthcare team. The RN will monitor, detect, plan and take appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy, spinal taps, and sonography
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and assessing patient conditions
- Experience in various medical settings such as hospitals, Home health, ambulatory surgery centers, assisted living facilities, or medical offices
- Ability to operate medical equipment and perform procedures such as phlebotomizing or mammography
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing, have experience in Acute care in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
• NM Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
