Job Description

In a Summer Pest Control Technician position, you will be following our door-to-door team while they sell and service all new customers we receive.You will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations.

During the summer, the schedule will be 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

• Wage comparable to $23 - $28 / hour (base pay guaranteed monthly pay servicing commissions sales commissions)

Once your training is completed, you will receive a company vehicle that you can take home along with a fuel card to use while running a route. You will also receive either a company cell phone or bi-monthly reimbursement.

What to Expect

You will follow along our door-to-door sales team to be available to perform same day services for all sales door-to-door makes.

You will conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to find any points of entry for insects and rodents while identifying any pest infestations and coming up with appropriate treatment plans. You will communicate clearly with customers about any findings you have and share treatment plans, preventative measures to take, and any additional services we offer to help keep our customers pest-free.

You will occasionally be required to go to our warehouse located in Centennial, CO for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6 months of customer-facing service experience
• 6 months of sales experience
• Excellent verbal communications skills
• Excellent time management skills

If you have previous experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, face-to-face customer service, or other types of in-home technician experience, we strongly encourage you to apply.

Requirements

• You must be 18 or over.
• You must have a current valid driver's license.
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• You must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
• You must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
