Sadler Brothers Trucking and Leasing is seeking a driven, successful, enthusiastic Freight Broker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Build and nurture strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transportation needs.
Managing Transportation needs for those clients.
Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to ensure maximum value and efficiency.
Tracking transportation requirements for clients
Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
Leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's reach.
Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, applying this knowledge to enhance service quality and compliance.
Generate and maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
Working closely with a team of associates to improve processes.
Making multiple phone calls per day to service clients
Qualifications:
Must be results-oriented and a team player.
Proven track record of success, with a book of business generating consistent revenue.
Must have exemplary telephone skills, along with oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in utilizing industry-specific software and technology platforms.
Strong multitasking abilities, enabling you to juggle multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
Must have a drive to succeed.
Must possess a strong sense of urgency and purpose.
Must be able to adapt to ever-changing situations.
Must be a forward-thinking problem solver.

Requirements:
Must have a degree(s) in Transportation or at least 2 years experience.
Strong motivation
Problem-solving skills can handle high-paced environments.
Consultative selling skills
Communication skills, especially with high-level decision-makers
Knowledge of the meetings & events industry
Experience with research and lead generation
Not afraid of the phone - inbound/outbound calls required daily as well as emails.

Monday through Friday
07:00 am 04:00 pm
Pay Rate:
Salary will be dependent on experience.
