The SHS Part-Time Custodian reports to the SHS Full-Time Custodian and Principal and is responsible for:
Modeling and teaching Catholic doctrine, values, and morals.
Working cooperatively with administrators, faculty, students and parents to form a faith community in the school & parish.
Cleans the assigned areas as directed.
Performs tasks that custodian determines need to be done to ensure a safe and clean building.
Sets up, tears down, and cleans for special functions in or outside the SHS facility.
Ensures that SHS facilities are opened for activities and secured after use.
Reports immediately to the Full-Time Custodian, or in his absence, to the Principal, all unsafe conditions for the occupants of a building.
Implementing school safety procedures.
Participates in training sessions as required by law or the school administration.
Works the assigned hours for School Year ‘22-’23.
Performs maintenance, operational, and other duties as assigned by the Full-Time Custodian, Pastor, and/or Principal.
Dresses in a fashion, while on the job, that shows respect for SHS.
Shows respect for all who use the SHS facilities
Fosters the spiritual development of students.
Education, Experience & Skills Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Currently physically qualified to supervise students adequately.
Strong written, verbal presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate cleaning equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
