Job Description
Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry
Position : Full Time Exempt
Reports to : Directly to the Pastor
Coordinates with : Director of Administration
Position Summary :
The Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry provides leadership in the design, implementation, and evaluation of ministry programs for youth and young adults within the church community.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, and demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and responsibility.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bilingual
- Promotes active participation of youth and young adults in
parish liturgical life.
- Is a practicing Catholic.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Has the ability to design and implement a variety of youth and
young adult programs.
Willing to collaborate with the pastor, parish staff, parents, and
parishioners.
Holds at least a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry, with two
to four years of experience in youth programs in a parish setting
preferred.
- Has knowledge of Life Teen and Edge programs.
- Possesses some training and experience in Pastoral Ministry.
- Submits an annual youth ministry budget for the pastor's
approval.
