DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the entire clinical operations of patient care functions in an out-patient clinic, assisting in planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery. The RN Clinic Manager is a professional nurse who works independently and with minimal supervision in providing a continuum of ongoing ambulatory care by: 1) performing nursing procedures and patient care responsibilities effectively, 2) Managing and leading a team of professionals, Performs HR functions, handles patient issues, other duties as needed.
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hrs per day, Monday - Friday
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES:
- Responsible for reporting to EDN urgent clinical issues, keeps EDN abreast of meetings which CNM has attended, ensures accurate, detailed and frequent communication with EDN and Regional Manager regarding daily clinic workflows, audit readiness, new clinic openings and as requested by EDN.
- Maintains current knowledge of all documents that direct practice, e.g., policies, clinical guidelines, ancillary guidelines, etc.
- Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure Hospital Discharge list provided by IEHP is managed.
- Oversight of staff onboarding and initial training.
- Participates in monthly meetings between nursing and PSR/Scheduling/Referral staff.
- Facilitates weekly 1:1 meeting with individual managers and leads and provides follow through with requests. Ensures lead and manager concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Directly responsible for completing all assigned staff quarterly and annual job performance evaluations.
- Oversight of all assigned staff to ensure timely and accurate pay roll completion and submission.
- Oversight of VFC/VFA/private stock and complete vaccination program/process.
- Liaison with Gateway College Faculty (MA program clinical placement schedule)
- Travels to satellite clinics under the supervision of the EDN.
- Serves on assigned committees as appointed and actively participates in meetings and outside activities as delegated.
- Oversees implementation of and compliance with all new federal, state, and local laws, and regulations for ambulatory health care facilities.

- Ensures healthcare provided in the clinics reflects the goals, objectives, and values of SACHS. Assists with the development of goals and objectives of the SACHS clinics under the supervision of the EDN.

- Other duties as assigned by EDN.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience: Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of three (3) years outpatient clinic experience and three (3) years of clinic management experience required. Preferably experience in outpatient setting or FQHC.
- Licensure/Certification: Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse license required; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Valid CA Driver's License, valid liability car insurance. As a requirement of this position, you must receive EPIC certification for the module you have been hired into.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Computer competency; able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position.
- Interpersonal Skills: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; compose written material; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
