POSITION SUMMARY:

In this exciting new travel role, you will assist with developing and executing a Nurse Aide training program and work as the instructor to train our new employees and start them on the path to becoming state tested nursing assistants! Our healthcare labor force is changing and we want to be on the ground floor training new talent!

Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or possess a valid compact license
• Graduate of an accredited RN or BSN nursing program
• Must be willing to obtain Train the Trainer Certification approved by the state of Ohio
• Properly Train STNAs in accordance with up to date federal and state guidelines
• Must be willing to travel throughout the state of Ohio

Experience:

• A minimum of two (2) years of nursing, at least one of which must be in the provision of long term care facility services.
• Must have experience in evaluating, in a long-term care setting, the clinical skills of individuals providing care is considered experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill.
• Prior experience as a Nurse Aide Educator preferred.
