Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Associate to join our team. As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. This is an essential role in our distribution center, and we are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Unload and load trucks using equipment such as forklifts, high lifts, or electric pallet jack.
- Organize received items in designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of received shipments, including quantities and condition of items

- Fill out inventory tags for production use
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Operate driving a box truck to move product inventory to different warehouses.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high lifts, or electric pallet jack is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

- Box truck driving experience is preferred

Note: Hourly wage is negotiable

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
