Position is Hybrid

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide management and oversight of the planning and delivery of behavioral health service programs.
• Identify, develop, and implement program partnerships, care delivery models, and community-based behavioral health practices to successfully achieve adult and pediatric services strategic goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the BH programs, including leading cross-functional meetings and optimizing internal processes to ensure program deliverables are met.
• Ensure that program goals and objectives are met through continual monitoring of data, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments and agencies.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of city, state, and national guidance on relevant behavioral health practices.
• Create and ensure ongoing implementation of comprehensive programs for behavioral health patients addressing counseling, psychiatry, and case management needs.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate program budget aligned with department and relevant grant expectations.
• Work to maintain reach in the Los Angeles community by developing new partnerships, strengthening current partnerships, and building understanding of community needs to reach target populations and increase access to services and referrals for behavioral health service programs.
• Ensure contract & grant compliance, identify any needed process improvements, develop solutions, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in external or internal meetings and committees; represents Saban Community Clinic’s Behavioral Health department at local planning groups, policy forums and collaboration meetings as needed.
• Monitor program performance monthly and present data to the department and others as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s degree in public health, healthcare/mental health administration or 3-5 years of experience in administration and/or management of programs with related services.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs in a healthcare setting
• Ability to interpret clinic strategies and translate them into practical project plans.
• Passion for and commitment to Saban’s goal to provide comprehensive quality care for everyone.
• Ability to train, mentor, supervise, and evaluate the work of staff.
• Experience managing large projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate should have a strong understanding of data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some knowledge of Visio.
