Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled 2nd shift Mold Setter to join our team. As a Mold Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining molds in our manufacturing facility. This is a critical role that ensures the efficient operation of our plastics extrusion and injection molding processes.

Responsibilities:
- Set up molds according to production requirements
- Install and remove molds from machines
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues
- Perform routine maintenance on molds and equipment
- Collaborate with production team to optimize efficiency and quality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations and adjustments
- Knowledge of plastics extrusion and injection molding processes
- Ability to assemble and disassemble molds accurately
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Familiarity with CNC machines and machining processes
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot mold-related issues
- Understanding of logic controllers used in molding machines

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Mold Setter or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
