Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced SaaS Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of the Information Management Services on the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) program. IMS consists of a variety of high-performance middleware services that will serve as the data backbone for the U.S. national airspace system for the next 15 years or more. As the SaaS Operations Manager, you will lead a team of support engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain the cloud-based services in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the IMS system and services

• Oversee all deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities for all of the operational environments, which include private and public cloud infrastructure

• Assist in coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities with customer stakeholders

• Staff and manage the 24x7x365 support team

• Provide hands-on assistance and mentorship to team members

• Review and report on service performance metrics

• Work with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall system performance

• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with cloud providers

• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, requests, and issue reports

Compensation Range: $120,800 - $157,000

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, computer science, IT, cybersecurity or related technical field

• 15 years of relevant experience

• Personnel management experience

• Experience managing cloud-based SaaS systems

• Issue Management (JIRA)

• Linux system administration

• Virtualized environments (VMWare, AWS)

• Messaging oriented middleware and web services
