Job Description:
Luxury home builder is looking for an architectural draftsman/designer with both strong technical and design background. The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire planning and construction process, including the following:
Draft initial conceptual Building Plans and Building Elevations per client directive.
Layout Interior Floor Plans and create interior detail drawings (ID Set) including interior elevation and finish specifications.
Coordinate MEP drawings.
Collaboration with Architects and Engineers and assist with working drawings.
Specify dimensions, codes, production methods and materials.
Create functional 3D models (finished renderings not required).
On-site quality control through regular site visits (work with PM throughout entire project)
Qualifications:
Must have references and pass a background check
Must have prior experience with luxury estate homes
Must have sufficient CAD experience
Must be accurate and responsible, able to work independently
Ability to handle multiple job-sites
Some project management skills preferred
Job Type: Part-Time. Work both remotely and at the office.
Work Hours: 20 hours/week. Flexible schedule during regular business hours Mon-Fri.
Compensation: $30/hour; increase based on experience/performance.
