As a Technical Writer – join S2 Analytical Solutions and the customer to facilitate the mission of national security and humanitarian leadership by shaping information-driven decision-making with innovative IT solutions!

Job Overview: As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing descriptive manuals and guides for complex subjects. You will develop and implement appropriate mediums, such as manuals, online videos, and graphics, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Duties:

• A Technical Writer, or Technical Communicator, writes descriptive manuals and guides for complex subjects.
• Researching topics, writing documents, and editing work for publication.
• Develop and implement the appropriate medium for the target audience when writing manuals, online videos, and graphics.
• Edit material prepared by other writers or staff.
• Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Demonstrated experience writing a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating the display of graphics and the production of documents
• Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft office software.
