Description
Salary Range: $41.44 per hour plus benefits
This position is within a positive and recovery-focused agency that really improves lives. The RN works directly with members to provide prescribed physical health medical services that improve chronic health conditions and annual wellness exams for members who also have mental illness and/or substance abuse conditions. Responsible for regular interactions with our membership to gather medical information and data as directed by Nurse Practitioner and sharing necessary labs, results or concerns for coordination of care with primary clinical team and medical specialists. Document all services to provide clarity and collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, treatment, and recovery. There is also some limited health benefits to our employees that may be provided. Maintains exam room and pharmacy supplies in accordance to medical best practices and licensing requirements. Coordination of care with other providers and teaching healthy living skills are significant aspects of this position.

Essential Functions:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree with RN license Requiredx
Experience:
1 or more years of work experience Requiredx Preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of public behavioral health programs and services
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
Must be professional, display leadership qualities
Work independently, and be a team player
Proven clinical and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of proper codes and billing for services rendered.
Professional Certifications & Licenses:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Requiredq Preferred
Valid AZ State RN license or MultistateRequired /q Preferred
Other requirements:
Self-identify as a Peer by the InterNational Association of Peer Supporters (iNAPS)
or Mental Health America definition and/or have (or have had a history) of a
Mental Health/Behavioral Health or Substance Use/Abuse Diagnosis
(Bona Fide Occupational Qualification) Required
Peer Certification Required
At least 21 years of age (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification) Preferred
Valid AZ Driver’s License Required
CPR/First Aid Certification Required
Covid-19 Vaccine Required
Criminal Background Verification Required
Pre-Hire and Random Drug/Alcohol Screening Required
Up to date on all immunizations including yearly TB and flu and Hepatitis B series completed
