- Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately estimate costs and materials needed
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Utilize construction management software, such as Project and Bluebeam, to create detailed project schedules and cost breakdowns
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges or opportunities for cost savings
- Perform construction estimating tasks, including quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to accurately estimate quantities and costs of materials
- Maintain accurate records of project estimates, change orders, and cost tracking throughout the duration of the project
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations
