S&S Activewear is seeking a motivated IT Systems Administrator with cloud administration experience to join our team. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure as well as our on-prem environment. Duties & Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure Management

• Use trusted advisor to investigate recommendations, proposing and implementing best practices.
• Utilize Config to track and investigate configuration issues, proposing and implementing remediations.
• Utilize AWS Systems Manager to track patching statuses and remediate failures. 
• Utilize CloudWatch to monitor resources and remediate issues as they arise. 
• Participate in the design and deployment of new infrastructure. 
• Manage tickets from the Amazon Managed Services team.

Server Administration

• Participate in the management of a hybrid Active Directory domain. 
• Install and manage Windows Server roles such as Active Directory Domain Services and IIS.
• Manage backup of on-premises servers and Microsoft 365.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Participate in administering Microsoft 365 services such as Entra, Intune and Teams.
• Help facilitate the onboarding implementation of cloud technologies. 
• Use scripting and Power Automate to automate repeatable tasks.

Provide tier 3 support for service desk personnel. 

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in managing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• An excellent understanding of VPC concepts such as subnetting, security groups, and routing.
• Experience with deploying EC2 instances through CloudFormation.
• An excellent understanding of load balancing and high availability.
• An excellent understanding of IAM, roles and policies.
• Experience with PowerShell and Windows server.
• Fundamental understanding of Linux. 
• Experience with writing CloudFormation templates using YAML.
• Experience with SAML integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• AWS Certifications are a plus.
