About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director or Senior Director of Global Commercial Strategy for Pain to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading global marketing decisions, shaping commercial strategy, and supporting successful launches in the pain programs. This role involves developing strategies and resources for use by regional teams, ensuring that patient needs remain central to decision-making, and integrating commercial positions into the pain pipeline strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on the company's outlook in pain across assets, indications, and geographies, and will play a key role in the development of the pain portfolio strategy. They must be highly strategic, thrive in an environment of uncertainty and rapid change, demonstrate strong leadership, work effectively within cross-functional teams, and have a problem-solving mindset backed by strong analytical skills.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, ideally in life sciences, and at least 12 years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In-country launch experience, particularly in small molecule/pain, and US market experience are required, with multiple-market experience highly desired. Experience in global marketing, new product planning, and commercial operations or analytics is also desirable, especially involving product launches. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage initiatives that require collaboration across multiple functional areas, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Excellent communication skills, a solid compliance mindset, and demonstrated integrity on the job are essential.
