Job Duties:

• Coordinate proper supply of hundreds of consumable components for use in Crystal Growing Furnaces in B40, B60 and future B70 including various graphite, quartz, ceramic, metal and insulation parts.
• Forecast order quantities to Purchasing for 6 different hot zone sizes and multiple configurations of parts for up to 10 different suppliers based on production volume, pricing and lead times.
• Request deliveries of parts from Stores for all 3 Pulling departments.
• Assist clean team with new part unpacking and used part disposal.
• Track part replacement reasons and lifetime achievement.
• Organize shipments of parts to be reworked by off-site vendors.
• Compile, verify, and analyze data and test results. Present findings to production, engineering or support groups.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory of all hotzone parts within CZ. Acquire needed parts.
• Monitor inventory, track usage, provide forecast/order quantities of HZ / quartz parts.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery, resolve issues and expedite parts as needed. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 4 yrs. related work experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform hands-on part assembly and manual lifting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Proficient with Excel. Proven data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Able to interface well with clean team, pulling teams, engineering staff, purchasing group and supplier representatives.
• Highly organized individual.
• Capable of understanding mechanical part drawings.

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• AS degree in a technical field.
• Familiar with Japanese language a plus.

Work Environment:
Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and safety procedures. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Kneeling, bending and crouching positions, as well as the lifting of parts and use of hand tools in such positions, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Overtime work may be required on short notice. On-call status may be required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.
