S Consulting, LLC is Hiring a Construction Assistant Project Manager- Multi Family Near De Land, FL

Are you a professional in the construction industry with experience in Multi Family Construction, specifically?! We have multiple needs for the following: Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.

Responsibilities (vary depending on the role/title):

· Provides leadership and direction to members of the team.

· Involved/assists in hiring and selection process, terminations, and performance evaluations.

· Monitors direct reports attendance and performance.

Essential Job Functions:

· Assists in overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring workers adhere to project plans and safety codes.

· Coordinates and supervises field operations, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.

· Assists in ensuring the quality of workmanship and materials on site.

· Addresses any deviations from the project specifications or issues affecting the quality of the project.

· Helps in preparing and updating project schedules.

· Ensures that projects remain on track, addressing any delays or obstacles.

· Coordinates with subcontractors, ensuring their timely and quality contributions to the project.

· Addresses any issues related to subcontractor performance.

· Assists the Superintendent in preparing daily and weekly progress reports.

· Documents any issues, incidents, or changes that might affect the project timeline or budget.

· Serves as a key point of contact for team members, providing guidance and support, as necessary.

· Communicates with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and other contractors.

· Identifies areas for process and efficiency improvements.

· Stays updated with industry best practices, tools, and technology.

· Participates in training sessions and workshops.

· Mentors junior staff or laborers on construction best practices.

· Ensures all site personnel comply with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

· Conducts regular safety checks and meetings.

· Adheres to company policies and procedures.

· Operates with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge of construction processes, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.

· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency with construction management software.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar programs.

· Ability to build relationships and interact positively with employees, management staff and customers.

· Ability to motivate and manage a team, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive work environment.

· Organized with a strong sense of priority and commitment to meet deadlines.

· Ability to identify issues, address them and provide effective solutions.

· Ability to maintain compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.

· Ability to adapt to changes and handle them with professionalism.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of conversations, data records, files, and other vital information.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Ability to self-perform general construction tasks including but not limited to fence repair, repair and maintenance of erosion and sediment control barriers, securing the jobsite and maintaining safety handrails and guardrails.

· Strong planning, multitasking, time management and customer service skills are critical.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

Education & Certifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.

· OSHA 30 hour Certification

· Forklift Certification

· Valid driver license and a clean driving record. Travel may be required for client meetings or site visits.

· Possession of relevant licenses and certifications, as required by local or state regulations.

Experience:

· Two years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Prolong periods standing, bending, pulling, pushing may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
