CNC Maintenance Technician - S&C Electric
JOB SUMMARY - Palatine Intermediate/Advanced
In this position you will, for the majority of the time, maintain CNC controlled mills and lathes along with the equipment that supports material handling and scrap removal. There are also other manufacturing and assembly equipment that you will maintain. This work includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to for this equipment. You will perform maintenance tasks utilizing equipment manuals along with assembly drawings, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. You will assist in the further development of preventive maintenance programs through the performance and refinement of maintenance tasks in our cloud based CMMS. You will be expected to interact professionally with all members of the various teams on and off location as well as all customers by following all documented company and departmental procedures. You must be willing to work overtime or hours other than the assigned shift when agreed upon, including scheduled or emergency overtime.

Relevant Experience Required: One to three years formal trade school or equivalent experience required, with excellent troubleshooting skills on conventional and CNC machine tools.
