Established in 1968 S. Albert Glass Company has immediate openings for experienced individuals in its Commercial Glass Door Service Division. This person would be a Field Mechanic who Installs, Services, and Repairs Commercial Storefront Doors, Hollow Metal Steel Doors, Tempered All Glass Doors, Revolving Doors and Wood Doors.

The Door Service Mechanic is a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation of New & Replacement Doors, Hardware and all Associated Work with Regards to Door Repairs in Commercial Office Building, Storefronts & Residential Apartment Complexes. We are always looking for people with the right stuff to be a part of our team.

You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. With proven communication skills, you are eager to learn from trained professionals and take the next step in your career.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain parts stock in service vehicle
• Installation and Service of Commercial Doors and Hardware
• Installation and Service of Automatic Pedestrian Doors
• Installation and Service of Electronic Door Hardware and Equipment
• Carry a Cell Phone on a rotating basis in order to respond to Emergency Calls
• Be a good representative for S. Albert Glass Co., Inc. to our customers
• Conduct vehicle inventory when requested
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Three years of experience as a Door Service Mechanic doing comparable type work.
• Be a team player with the rest of the S. Albert Glass Company Staff
• Motivated to learn our business and expand your skill set
• Glass Door Mechanics will be OSHA 10 Certified.
