Job Title: Bid Coordinator

Provide administrative support to the assigned to the Big Box Division. Duties include general clerical, reports and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Other duties may be required as assigned by the President/CEO or Sr. Project Manager.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Estimating review of incoming RFP’s, estimating reports and sites.
  • Manage Bid documents and distribution of said documents through Building Connected or other bidding site.
  • Handle any incoming calls pertaining to any mechanical bids and quotes.
  • Attending project pre-start meetings in the office.
  • Serves as a backup for other department positions as needed.
  • Prepare subcontract agreements.
  • Ensure all bid paperwork is completed and distributed to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Sales Representatives, VP of Mechanical, and the Executive VP of Mechanical.

Qualifications:

Education / Work Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 5-7 years administrative or coordinator experience required.

Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Computer Skills:

Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (i.e., Word, and particularly Excel).
