Receiving Materials Specialist
Job Scope: Perform Warehouse and Fulfillment functions; Receiving, Receiving Incoming Inspection, Inventory Management, Returns, Kit Audit, Cycle counts, and Order Processing; Responsible for inventory and be able to manage and control part receipts and initial receiving inspections.
Have expert knowledge of packing slips, part numbers, receiving issues, the purchase request process and associated systems. Help to facilitate MRP transactions. Investigate discrepancies as needed. Assist Materials and Quality teams with inventory analysis. Support and assist with all operation projects and special assignments.
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
· Receive incoming material. Perform physical and visual inspection. Verifying quantity with documentation/packing slip.
· Communicate and follow up with customer service team on any receiving issues and/or discrepancies
· Put away materials while consolidating and delivering personal packages.
· Must know how to prioritize tasks based on its urgency
· Organize and maintain cleanliness all around the warehouse and workstations.
· Handle the internal product transfers shipments
· Perform MRP transactions including transfers, shipping and receiving
· Troubleshoot Material Movements, or roadblocks to processing
· Report on inventory qty, units processed and overall material status.
· Cycle count Inventory Material
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4 year of warehouse/inventory experience preferred
· Excellent interpersonal communications and organization skills, ability to multi-task while making effective decisions
· RMA, procurement or Return to Vendor experience preferred
· Attention to details and strong organizational skill
· Independent person and have ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
· Team Player, Problem solver
· Comfortable working in a start up environment
· Proficient with MS office is required
· MRP system experience & knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Etc)
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
· Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms
· Lift, carry, push and pull in excess of 25 pounds
· Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and balance
· Must be willing to work overtime as needed including weekends.
· Google spreadsheet and/or Microsoft Excel proficient
