RYNO is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated WordPress Quality Assurance Specialist to join our web development team. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the websites we build and maintain for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical skills, a strong understanding of web technologies, and a passion for delivering error-free and user-friendly websites.

Note: This is not a software quality assurance position.

On a daily basis, the right candidate will:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for websites to identify and report issues related to functionality, design, and content
• Test for accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, design-adherence, functionality, responsiveness, SEO best practices, speed and performance
• Work with developers to get changes implemented and verified
• Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and issues encountered, and communicate findings effectively to the applicable departments
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving web-based products and services

Required experience must be detailed on your resume:

• 3 years experience in WordPress website testing and quality assurance
• Strong understanding of web development and design principles
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
• Is proficient with testing tools and bug tracking systems eg Lighthouse, BrowserStack
• Has technical proficiency of web technologies

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has web development experience and some design UX knowledge
• Is familiar with Figma and GTMetrix
• Likes to stay up-to-date on the latest web technologies and trends related to quality assurance and website testing.
• Has a basic understanding of digital marketing SEO and PPC strategies
