Oversee event production operations for Grand Ole Opry House, Studio A, Opry Plaza, and Acuff House private events, concerts, award shows, and internal events. Support the Ryman Auditorium and Ole Red Production Manager(s) with staffing and advancing logistics on an as-needed basis, ensuring world-class technical execution and delivering quality experiences for visiting artists, production teams, clients, and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create event production budgets, labor estimates, and provide settlement recaps.
• Work with Technical Services Manager to coordinate equipment logistics and trucking for event productions.
• Manage the process of monitoring preventative maintenance practices and the repair of audio/visual/lighting equipment, in–house television, media appliances, and storage devices by the Technical Services A/V staff and approved vendors.
• Maintain vendor relationships and certificates of liability insurance for all OEG properties.
• Attend event meetings and visiting client site surveys. Maintain Tech Services events notes, SharePoint site, and the projected Tours limitations/maintenance needs.
• Work with Director of Technical Services to manage the execution of Technical Services capital project fulfillments for all OEG properties; maintain project timelines and budgets for the various capital upgrade projects.
• Manage weekly and monthly Technical Services department staff scheduling. Oversee the Technical Services' Assistant processing operational invoices, capital invoices, contract labor invoices, payroll processing, and various administrative duties.
• Perform project management duties involving managing personnel and budgetary tracking, as assigned by the Director of Technical Services.
• Support the Director of Technical Services in overseeing event production, show advance, and operations at various OEG properties, specifically advancing and communicating production details for all shows at the Grand Ole Opry House, including occasionally serving as Stage Manager as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school diploma required

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years experience working in production services in a national touring and/or house theatrical production position, or 5 years experience with a degree in production/media related studies
• Experience managing show crews, working with Union stagehand settlements, drafting Production estimates and settlements, advancing shows, managing and scheduling a staff of technicians, managing an inventory of equipment, and overseeing production transportation logistics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of music, acoustics, stage lighting, and video is required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Forklift certification
• Must complete OSHA 10-Hour Training
• Valid driver's license required
