Roles And Responsibilities▪ You will apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other materials
▪ Your knowledge of layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches using manual, automatic, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment allows you to complete your work in a timely manner
▪ You will fixture and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies
▪ Using measuring instruments and hand tools, you will position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps
▪ You start the day reviewing production orders then preparing your material for processing
▪ Safety is a priority – you will learn proper safety measures via online and in-person training
▪ You ensure the material meets a customer’s expectations by checking the size, finish, and accuracy of the finished product
▪ All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements▪ Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
▪ Regular attendance, including being on time and ready to work at assigned start time.
▪ Great attitude and team player
▪ Ability to work assigned overtime, at times with short notice
▪ Ability to find, enter, and print information on a computer as necessary
▪ Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision and hearing, as well as mobility and lifting requirements
▪ Additional requirements based on what machine a candidate would be using and the skills needed to operate (if applicable)
