Ryerson is Hiring a Customer Engagement Specialist Near Livermore, CA
- Quickly builds strong relationships with contacts at all levels across a variety of functions within customer organizations but especially with purchasing decision makers; develops customer trust and confidence in Ryerson and its representatives
- Succeeds by understanding the goals and concepts of our business and incorporating these goals daily to achieve sales and profitability targets
- Works closely with our outside sales team, credit center, inventory managers, and other departments within the company to creatively achieve both company and customer objectives
- Keeps customers informed about industry and economic trends and Ryerson’s ability to assist customers in adapting to change
- Understands and monitors the competitive environment and provides market intelligence to sales management to help shape service center sales strategies, price levels and working capital decisions
- Promotes Ryerson’s E-Commerce capabilities and other strategic initiatives
- Develops business relationships with customers to achieve market growth
- Coordinates the activities of various departments to ensure appropriate overall account management and customer’s requirements are met
- Consistently manages daily call planning and execution

High School Diploma
