• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hourly Pay : $19.08 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week : 40 - 50 or more hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule : Sunday-Saturday Operation- will have 2 consecutive days off
• Start Time : 7 : 00PM Dispatch- 8 - 10 hours per shift

• Route : Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type : Van
• Trailer Type : 20' Reefer
• Equipment : Hand Truck & Rolling Racks
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight : Touch Doughnuts

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment :
• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures
• Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
