Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Inventory Management Attendant in St. Augustine, FL

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay : $16.00 per hour
• Schedule : First Shift Monday to Friday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm
• This position also has an after-hours requirement and will be on call approximately 1 week per month. Additional compensation will be given for after hours activities

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude which includes the following : Ability to use programs such as Outlook and Excel to track shipments and data entry
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Ability to select and pack items for orders
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to work with personal accountability and minimal supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
