We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual for our Proposal Coordinator position at our Pittsburgh office.

Position Description:

This position will produce high-quality proposals, qualifications, and presentations to support the pursuit of new work opportunities for all eight of Rycon’s offices. Ensure integrity of all proposal documentation, coordinate internal flow and review, and direct production of final proposal. You will be part of a team reporting to the Proposal Manager.

What you will do:

• Assist Proposal Manager with producing and coordinating the assembly and production of proposals, presentations, and qualifications.

• Generate customized proposals and presentations, including writing/editing text, design layout, custom graphics, tailoring resumes, integrating schedules, with support and input from the Proposal Manager.

• Attend & lead internal kick-off meetings, identify tasks, assign responsibilities, and develop a proposal responsibility matrix.

• Completion of tasks, adhering to proposal schedule, production and assembly, and final submission.

• Collaborate with Rycon teammates as well as outside consultants to create compelling, innovative, and accurate proposals and presentation strategies.

• Researching, interviewing and note taking to collect information.

• Maintain company branding throughout all documents.
• Actively promote Rycon Construction, Inc. within the industry through networking and social media platforms.

What you will need to be successful:

• S. Marketing or related degree preferred.

• Minimum 1- 3 years of prior experience in construction, engineering, or similar industry, preferred.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) specific experience with InDesign for proposal layout.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Specific experience with PowerPoint.
• Time management and organization is essential for this position.
• Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing capability.

• Strong understanding of desktop publishing, presentation, and other marketing related software, including Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Basic understanding of SharePoint, FTP sites, video conference/sharing.
