Position Title: Excavation Operator/Crew Lead
Position Type: Full time
Deliverables:
— Approximately 45 Hours produced on budget & schedule each week.
— Tools, Crew, & Materials organized & set up for efficiency.
— Leading a team of 1-2 crew members to complete high-quality jobs on budget.
— Training crew members on your team to ensure efficiency, quality & safety.
— Working with clients throughout the job process to ensure an excellent customer experience
— Maintain an average 9/10 quality score.
— Daily updates to Operations Manager & administrative tracking systems
— Communicate with Admin & Customers to address & resolve any concerns
— Ensuring all team members understand scope of project & what role they will play
— Daily maintenance on equipment
— Ability to shoot grade, read plans, and follow work orders
— Operate heavy equipment safely, efficiently and to industry standards
— Grow skills & knowledge of the company & industry
Skills and Requirements:
— 2 years Heavy equipment operation
— Outgoing personality, able to connect with people effectively
— Ability to lead teams and motivate others
— Able to work some evening and weekends when necessary
— NYS Driver’s License CDL class A strongly encouraged to apply
— Ability to tow & back up equipment trailers.
— Ability to load, unload & secure equipment safely and properly
— Ability to lift 80 pounds
— Knowledge and use of lasers, demo saws, heavy equipment and attachments
— Attention to detail
— Ability to work out of town with potential for some overnight work (Appx. 25% or less of overall work)
— Ability to use power tools & equipment properly, safely & efficiently
Compensation:
— Up To 75k Per Year
