RYCO Heavy Haul, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Dispatch/Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the heavy haul trucking industry, along with proficiency in tasks such as ordering permits, liaising with customers to meet their requirements, and efficiently dispatching drivers for daily operations. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and brings a positive, team-oriented mentality and customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Transportation to gather necessary information required for scheduling moves, including creating purchase orders, obtaining rate confirmations, and collecting pertinent details such as serial numbers, pickup and drop-off locations, and time constraints.
• Assist in acquiring load permits, scheduling escorts, police details, and other necessary arrangements as required.
• Maintain effective communication with drivers, including subcontractors, to provide them with essential information regarding loads and deliveries through various communication channels such as calls, texts, and emails.
• Keep a dispatch log updated with current information for efficient scheduling and tracking purposes.
• Provide drivers with assistance in case of delays or if they require additional information to fulfill their tasks effectively.
• Verify load completion and compile all necessary data to generate customer invoices, including employee time cards, subcontractor invoices, bills of lading (BOLs), permit costs, etc.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by consistently delivering exceptional service in line with RYCO's standards.
• Provide general administrative support to the Heavy Haul team.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and collaborative approach a must.
• Route planning experience a plus.
• Knowledge and comfort with Quickbooks & Microsoft Office a plus.
• Ability to problem solve and think outside the box as circumstances arise.
