The Employment Tax Consultant ("Consultant") works with the team to identify tax savings opportunities and helps improve compliance for clients while gaining an understanding of how to prepare employment tax returns and how each component of the employment tax is computed.
This includes researching issues, drafting memorandums, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations. The Consultant also provides administrative support for client engagements and contributes to the overall growth of the practice.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other degree with Master’s in Business Discipline or JD.
Must have (12) Accounting hours with a 3.0 GPA or higher, a Major GPA of 3.25 or higher. Two to four years of employment tax-related experience.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet navigation and research.
An intermediate level of experience with tax research tools (e.g., CCH) is also desired.
Certificates and Licenses :
Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
