Day in the life of a Landscape Technician:

  • Manage landscape projects ranging in scale from planting trees, shrubs, and perennials to hardscaping projects and drainage on our client properties.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own while taking care of client properties and taking pride in the end results of their work.
  • Interact with clients on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services needed and services performed along with recommendations for other Ryan services needed on their property.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of Design/Build practices as well as other RYAN services.
  • Coach team members to develop skills, work efficiently and gain landscape knowledge
  • Ensure all team members have the tools, resources and required training to accurately meet the service demands of our customersRequirements

Requirements

  • 4 years of landscape experience including but not limited to: hardscaping, softscaping, grading and drainage 
  • General knowledge of equipment maintenance
  • Ability to safely operate equipment such as trenchers and vibratory plow
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
