RxFunction is Hiring a Quality Control Inspector Near Prairie, MN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and comply with FDA regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of samples to support inspection / test requirements
  • Perform first article and routine inspection / test activities
  • Organize, analyze and present inspection / test results
  • Transact and release acceptable material and production lots
  • Identify, document, label and segregate nonconforming material and product; place it on quality hold for review and disposition
  • Ensure labeling of materials and products with the appropriate acceptance status
  • Recommend necessary adjustments and changes to quality control plans, inspection / test methods, and production processes
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and documented procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (or GED) and two years’ experience in a regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, automotive)
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office® (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret documents such as policies, procedures, drawings, and other materials related to the position
  • Ability to interpret dimensional requirements on drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency using various measuring tools including, but not limited to: ruler, micrometer, caliper, weight scale, force gauge and digital multimeter
  • Aptitude and interest in hands-on work, basic mathematics, and data analysis
  • Unwavering commitment to detail, accuracy, and precision
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused until a task is completed
  • Effective verbal and written communication to exchange information required to complete essential duties and responsibilities, and to provide results and recommendations
